Youth for Independence.

Youth for Independence.  

Youth for Independence is a 6-week program that is geared towards youth aged 12-22 with invisible disabilities.  This course will be ideal for youth who do not have access to an adult support system.  The course will teach youth how to advocate for themselves in order to transition to independence. 

6-Week Program 

WEEK 1: Welcome; Goal setting

WEEK 2: Self-disclosure / The Five-Self's

WEEK 3: Community resources (Guest speakers)

WEEK 4: Group's topic choice

WEEK 5: Youth self-care

WEEK 6: Wrap up; Celebration
