Creator, Tamiko Garrett, presented at the 29th Annual Equity in the Classroom Conference! Take a look at her poster presentation at the conference. "I am more comfortable and knowledgeable about seeking resources for my child."
"The program helped me to know where to find resources in order to help my son be successful." "I can assist my child with disclosing their disability." "The program equipped me with adequate knowledge to help my daughter be successful in her transition to adulthood and living an independent life with an invisible disability. I did not have the skills before and I was afraid of how to go about helping her. She and I both are more comfortable now and have a solid game plan in place. We are looking forward to her success!" This week program participants received manicures and pedicures as a part of self-care. Shantell Nelson, owner of Eternity Hair Salon, graciously provided the services for FREE!
Welcome everyone!
